Hi all,
I would like to know if anyone has references of two Ammonia HB Plant key performance parameters:
1. Capacity factor: Operating hours/year. I guess it is aoround 90 to 95 or 8000 to 8500 hours and relies on catalyst replacement that becomes slowly deactivated by water and CO. I would guess 95% should be achievable with an annual shutdown of 7-10 days for machinery and reduction of catalyst.
2. Variation of efficiency of the process by variation of loading (applied for green ammonia plants) where the energy efficiency of HB is likely higher at full load, with a decline at partial load.
Many thanks in advance.
