Oman seeks to raise Sur plant capacity

Oman India Fertiliser Co (Omifco) decided to insert a third production stream in its plant in Sur, raising its capacity.
The additional of the production stream in the plant in expected to need USD 1 billion of investment.
‘Matters related to expanding the capacity are being examined by us seriously. Earlier this year Omifco initiated a feasibility study for the expansion project,’ joint managing director of IFFCO and board member at Omifco, Rakesh Kapur told Muscat Daily. Read more…
